Meditation is the training of the inter senses of the body and mind.  It is as rigorous as the training under taken by an athlete or an artist.

Why Mindfulness?

Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we are doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.  Simply, the complete “owning” and “inhabiting” of each moment of your experience, good, bad or ugly.  (Kabat-Zinn, 2013)
